#fountainpens
since I'm using them for my #bulletjournal I haven't gone back to fineliners at all.
I loved fineliners for sketching, but the tips were so fragile. Often the tips would just wear down and then they weren't writing as smoothly as if they were new.
with fountainpens, this is a problem of the past! and the waterproof inks which are available now make them absolutely sketching-proof!
@syndikalista I can relate.. :D
@distelfliege i still need to find a better place to cary them all the time around than in my jeans pocket...
@syndikalista I'm about to watch a video about fountainpen filling and maintenance: https://youtu.be/u-WjYJARqSo
@distelfliege so basically fountain pen-ning is again needle-work ;)
@syndikalista I need a bulb syringe like that.
@distelfliege you should get one in a pharmacy (or via ebay).
@distelfliege my prob with ink v fineliner is that ink tends to bleed through a page - i dont sketch but write. Other than using super thick paper i'm not sure what to do? (I write in black, so that's an extra layer of problem...)
@distelfliege i feel like i just made you my ink-agony aunt^^
@distelfliege my main problem is filling the piston. This morning i skrewed up again and my hands are now very colourful by filling 3 pens ;)
