I actually found a route made by some people who went from stuttgart to berlin by bike to visit the "Kirchentag" *yuk*
I have to look for Berlin-Ulm because from Ulm I would just take the "Donau-Radweg" (D6)
@distelfliege oh ya my gfs and I did this exact thing this summer!!! We used Google maps at the end sadly
@eribloodlust there is this app, maps.me, which is based on OSM and that's pretty decent, but OSM itself sucks.
@distelfliege we use that one too, now, but ya it does.
haha, next problem: there is absolutely no legal site I can find online where I could put my tent up near zeitz. 😡
Ok found one... it would be a detour. well.
it seems to be out of business. the whole route has no opportunities to put a tent up, and I'm already 200km in. what is this? maybe I should just skip naziland and start in bavaria.. oh, wait.. 😡
I give up for today. I seem to have tried out the completely wrong route. I think you can try to just find your way and ask around for places to sleep, but not in nazicountry.
*frustrated*
@distelfliege that does sound frustrating.
I give up. OSM is hard for me, I have absolutely no idea how I can display camping opportunities on the map I'm looking at, and typing it into the search form gives me results, entirely somewhere else.. back to google.
