people who live outside of germany: are folks using tons and tons of explosives where you live too?

Living in the united states, there's a lot of illegal fireworks use surrounding arbitrary holidays. More of a problem in the summer around here, probably because it's cold around new year's.

@distelfliege @enkiv2 In the UK the whole neighbourhood is rampant with explosives a day, or two before the actual celebration, and then also a day, or two after the festivities ended. People also find every excuse to celebrate and do fireworks during any historical, or specifically national holiday. The majority of people do it, so those who find it annoying come across as a minority every time 😃
@distelfliege @enkiv2 I also do have small rabbits in the garden, and the fireworks scare them to no end, which also drives my adrenaline up.
@mareklach oh no.. at least here it's only around new years eve.. a week before that it starts and after the day, ppl blow up their leftovers.
