@distelfliege because "multiculturalism/diversity" (reality: commercial marketing) and claim to move from centralising fireworks displays in UK at 5th Nov (which is ofc in reality a nasty episode of Christian sectarian violence that led to decades/centuries of war fireworks are now sold (and often discharged) all winter in UK.
Its got better because concerns terrorism and crime led to the stronger ones being banned (gangs were using them as weapons!) but still bad/scary for local animals. 1/2
