What if we used CRISPR-Cas9 ( a tool that allows to replace a piece of DNA by another in cells) to change DNA of the cells of the pituitary gland ( which control hormones secretion in the body) in a way that testosterone stops being produced ( for mtf) or start being produced ( for ftm ) for trans people 🤔

@soza a question i have, since i don't know anything about transitioning : when you take hormones, for exemple when you stop the testo production and take oeustrogenes to do a mtf transition. Does the testo levels drop occurs violently or is it a slow drop?
because with crispr the drop would be expected to be quick, so i don't know how the hormones equilibrium would be. (once again, i don't know anything about transitioning and my classes about hormones are far behind me so don't hesitate to correct me if i'm wrong ^^)
