Saw a person looked for an instance that was "pro free speech" in away that they can cuss in sexist or ableist ways, don't have to use CNs (not even for heavy topics like suicide), but still not be faced with an instance that's full of nazis or lolicon.
And apparently, finding an instance like that is kinda hard and to me that is... amazing? ^^ It just goes to show which company you end up with when you have so little regard for other human beings.
Moderationg instances is serious business.
Keeping ppl who show abusive behaviour from spreading their poison to Mastodon is *crucial* to keep the community safe and healthy.
Don't be afraid to moderate. Don't be afraid to show hateful people the door!
How do I contact the admins of my own instance?
Like, in general, where is that info located? I'm asking because AFAIK the "report" feature alerts the admins of the reported user's instance, not my own.
And in the case where I wanna propose a domain-wide block, a report isn't gonna do anything. Can anyone help me out?
