I actually have a lot of good friends still on birdsite and my Masto “personality” is a little different (I don’t talk about anything local because with like 3 exceptions, who don’t use this often, nobody is from Buffalo). But: the community here is amazing, all of y’all are amazing, and that’s why I’m here.
FUN FACT:
I use Mastodon as my primary public social network not because of the increased default character limit (though it is nice) but because this place has a community of people I care about and people I can actually interact with without necessarily feeling like I am wasting their or my time.
There are other things that keep me here but that's the first thing that comes to mind.

Last session I had my players navigate a structure that was three towers that would periodically spin quickly around the center, not always stopping in the same place.
Once they got inside to talk with the Unseelie Fey Court they saw one of them playing with a fidget spinner.
