@nergdron oh yeah I wear nail polish regularly, and at work! (Which was a big deal for me when I first did it). Scouting is just... a little different.

@maloki I actually did last Halloween! We just got a bunch of new families though so I don’t know how “okay” they are.

I think at least most people would be cool with me wearing nail polish but again, just reeeeally don’t want to have those conversations rn

After frustrating news at work I can’t find the damn nail polish remover which I need to use before my son’s scout meeting because I need to fucking pretend to be cis. On the one hand I feel like this should be a sign or whatever but also I do not have the energy to deal with potentially starting shit tonight

It was only Bad two years ago, and at the end of that I had finally accepted I was nonbinary. So that had a good outcome.

Every year around this time (late September through early November) I seem to have a bout of depression. The past few years I’ve known that and have said “I’m fine THIS year!” and then in hindsight been like “oh yeah no you weren’t.”

I’m feeling a bit off today but nothing too bad. So I don’t think I am depressed now. But I’ve thought that in falls past.

I think that ⭐ instead of ❤ for favs is actually a detriment, because from my pov peoples' problem with the heart was that it was too feminine.

I actually have a lot of good friends still on birdsite and my Masto “personality” is a little different (I don’t talk about anything local because with like 3 exceptions, who don’t use this often, nobody is from Buffalo). But: the community here is amazing, all of y’all are amazing, and that’s why I’m here.
