If "hatereading" (hate-curating?) were something I had any emotional energy for I'd consider running a gallery tumblr of horrible things people say on steam forums, just to shame Valve for how unbelievably shitty they've allowed their user culture to become.
the bigger emotional drain though would be taking this bullet day after day and then realizing that Valve/Twitter/FB simply cannot be shamed because their entire worldview is built around absolving themselves of any responsibility for the user culture that has brought them obscene, evil amounts of wealth.
@jplebreton well that's the lesson of capitalism - you can't choose your users or market, you're supposed to work with the ones who value your product. Thus absolving you as product developer of all responsibility when awful people value what you make or use it for awful ends.
