I got an extra 4 hours of sleep if anyone was wondering how my sick day is going

time to watch the xfiles in bed because what's the point of being sick otherwise

I have sent the email I'm staying home sick

oh good, I woke up an hour and a half before my alarm and now I can't get back to sleep because my throat still hurts just as much as it did yesterday
but still no stuffed head or coughing, which increasingly makes this seem like another fuckin viral infection
I am thinking I will not go to work today

@cooler_ranch haha, yep, I can do that too - my shoulders pop out at will. great party trick. most of my major joints are hypermobile - fingers bend backwards, thumbs pop out, shoulders dislocate, hips are way bendier than necessary... my doctor says my wrists are actually permanently subluxed - the joint pops in and out every time I rotate a hand, which has always alarmed people. doctor included. :p

@cooler_ranch hypermobile. not painful on its own, but my joints get thrown out of whack really easily, which is inconvenient - can't jog, run, even walk too much or stay on my feet for too long without something getting messed up the next day.

@lanodan_wtch it's an xfiles poster :p same as the one that hangs in Mulder's office on the show. it'll be easy to find if you feel like googling lol

@lanodan_wtch that's fair. I spend a lot of time on calligraphy so I feel like it makes sense to shoot for a lofty goal :p

oh god is this another of those fuckin viral throat infections I kept getting last year bc I fucking hate those
only symptom is a sore throat, no plugged nose or anything, so I can't justify taking that much time off work but it takes fuckin forever to go away
