@geekylou @bea this is a new polish I just got the other day! I think it's a black base color with a lot of tiny red sparkles. I have it painted over a layer of plain red polish to make sure the red comes through.

omg I just got the full explanation from my building super about that rat inspection and it's hilarious
apparently it's because the repair guy who came to fix something in the kitchen the other day peeked into the living room and saw the rats and COMPLETELY freaked out because he's scared of them and he wouldn't even go into the kitchen unless the super stood next to the living room door to make sure they couldn't get past the giant gate lmao

@BinaryWater I've actually read that there are some advantages for lefties with fountain pens - namely that they don't need to use oblique pens because their natural angle is already the right one for most cursive scripts. but I imagine there's also a lot of smudging? and most of the instructions are probably for righties I guess

think I may try this with a less flexible nib - this kind of loose, rounded cursive is a bit more casual than I think suits a quote like this. maybe go for a more traditional copperplate - narrow, consistent, squared edges, less line variation

@aprrrl the rats are definitely fans. they like to hang out near the ceiling and watch everyone. also they can sneak onto the couch and try to steal our snacks. :p
