@tobascodagama i have a feeling she doesn't consider herself to share a class with a mere ~bus driver.~
@Shutsumon they absolutely have not, no
now she's exclaiming to one of the programmers about how 'wow you can type so fast without even looking at the keyboard???' and 'i mean gosh with autocorrect these days you barely even need to KNOW how to type, it's AMAZING how much EASIER everything is THESE DAYS' so i'm thinking baby boomer, which explains a lot
nothing like starting your workday hearing someone talking way too loudly about how the local bus strike is bad because bus drivers "don't deserve such high wages when they don't even need an education" and "if they don't like their jobs they should just quit"

@daiyi this is such a good aesthetic
today I got twooooo packages in the mail hooray!
one was the new converters for my parallel pens so I can load them with whatever colour I want instead of just cartridges
now, of course, I'll have to buy a whole bunch of ink to fill them with. obviously. come on.
I also got a roll-y thing to crack my back with :D
@grime_witch bet they'll just do another reboot of dogs. no originality these days

@gcupc I have very tiny handwriting. :P
@gcupc The parallels are great, I highly recommend them. Really fun to work with. I've got a Pilot Metro with an extra-fine nib, but I should really get one with an italic nib sometime...
@gcupc I use Pilot parallel pens, which have a gradient function! You just take 2 pens with different-coloured ink, and rub the nib of the desired gradient colour onto the one you plan to write with (in this case, black ink rubbed onto a red pen).
Then the black ink placed on top of the red comes out first, and as the black runs out, it fades into the red underneath.
It would probably work with a fair number of flat-nibbed calligraphy pens, though for the Pilots it's an actual feature in the instruction manual and everything.
