I'm watching a movie called Harbinger Down and it's trying REALLY hard to be The Thing except in the ocean
but at least the asshole professor who tried to steal his female student's discovery died a super gross slimy death after a bunch of flesh tubes burst out of his back and sprayed everyone with gross fluids
this is so blatantly based on The Thing it's even got a dead guy turning into a terrifying tentacle monster and trying to eat the other crew members
