Learning French and reviewing Spanish. For now.
I saw someone mention Tarot journals yesterday and decided to start one. I've been reading cards for quite awhile but never really studied the basics. I read very intuitively and consider the official meanings secondary, so I didn't bother much with them.
But I found some cool card study pages so I'm going through the deck one card a day now. Today was The Fool (Rider-Waite). It's interesting really paying attention to all the details and symbols. Lots of little things I never noticed.
Awww, just look at my adorkable baby.
In related news, getting cats to sit still for close-up pics is hard.
I took 3 weeks of French back in junior high, and then 6 years of Spanish, then didn't use any of it for over a decade. That basically means I understand juuust enough of the French toots I'm seeing to wish I could actually read them.
Guess I'm going to get started with Duolingo!
Good timing, too. I've been studying pharmacy stuff but I have my exam and should be certified next week so I'm ready to start learning something new with all that extra study time.
@pintrouille Thanks! I had a good day, but it's nice to be home now.
Hurray! My break at work finally came at the right time to let me join here. This is pretty much all I have time to do before I go back, but I'm very happy to be here.
