@candle it's for maximum crunch. If you pour milk on cereal, it is instantly sogged right off the bat, but if you pour cereal into the milk only the bottom bit is soggied and the top remains dry. If you start eating from the bottom, each bite spends the minimum time in the milk and retains more crunch.

@candle Cheerios only if I'm eating them over a very long time, they take a while but they do go soggy eventually
