i just found out french has a word for saying yes specifically to negative questions...
@candle Whaaaaaaat how did I never find out English doesn't have a word for that? It's 'doch' in German
@noiob it comes up a lot in life to ask "yes as in [original negative question], or yes as in [denegatised question]" lol
@candle No one knows how to use it in German, so it probably wouldn't help ^^ People answer "no" all the time
