To what extent should politics be on Mastodon? Birdsite is great for politics, but sometimes it's too much political tweets. *But* discussing LGBTQ issues is inherently political. (Some spaces try to exclude LGBTQ issues by claiming they want to be apolitical, and that's a load of bollocks)

Where to draw the line? What should I include? Maybe just include LGBTQ politics without the "what's happened next in the UK general election?"
