"bon dimanche !"
do you usually wish each other well for specific days?
@sempervirenx when we do, it's kinda joking - "happy friday (haha there's nothing special about friday)"
@sempervirenx although last friday was a holiday called good friday lol
@sempervirenx @candle Friday is happy for people who work M-F! you're almost to the weekend! ppl definitely wish "happy Friday" sincerely
@aprrrl @candle @sempervirenx at my work people always do 'happy Monday!' too and I'm never sure if they're sincere or not. at least some of them (including me) must be sarcastic.
@aprrrl @sempervirenx @candle OTOH, I've heard, like, "Happy Wednesday!" in the same joking tone mentioned.
@candle similar to have a nice weekend I gather
@candle Only the sunday, but it’s not very used anymore (It’s kinda a « have a good week-end » but for the week-end is already halfway through, sorta)
@candle nah other day are shitty working day. Only a day without work can be good and deserve a "bon dimanche"
@candle for special days yeah. You wouldn't say "bon mercredi!" but sunday is a holiday so it's especially good
@sempervirenx @candle @Ymelia_ huh, okay! I never had anyone wish me a good wednesday but it's alright
@sempervirenx @candle @Ymelia_ maybe it depends on the region or something
@candle Usually only for the weekend
@candle yeah, you don't?
