I have a bag of sweets right now and one of the flavours tastes EXACTLY like peach hubba bubba. I get flashbacks to 2001 whenever I eat them. It's really good!

I give up on being goth the *second* it's warm enough for jorts. There's no time for thinking about death when I could be out and about jorting it up

After using it for a couple of days I'm really not sure if I like my mechanical keyboard more than the scissor switch I was using before? It feels high quality but I have to push the keys so much deeper to get them to work and it's kinda uncomfortable. Also it's really fucking loud. I got the kind with silent switches but the board or whatever makes really loud pinging noises. I'm kinda whining into the void rn, I know this is trivial as fuck and I can always return it. I'm just kinda surprised - it seemed like most ppl who used them think they're pretty great, so i was expecting to like it more than I think I actually do. :/

When I first started reading fanfic all the titles were from songs I didn't recognise, but I'm old enough now that I remember all the sad emo songs ppl name their fics after and it is really endearing and kind of hilarious

Following strangers when you're using Amaroq is like a lucky dip. Is their account locked? Is it public? Who knows! I guess I'll find out!

Knighthoods are complete bullshit, but I do wonder if fewer famous ppl would be vying for president if America had an honours system. Like, a medal and a title so everyone knows how good you are at your job, instead of trying to be literally fucking president to get the same validation.

(Of course, I'm sure this would lead to a pile of new issues instead. But you get what I'm getting at, hopefully)

I should eat a passion fruit. I'm gonna make a lil note in my diary. Wasps seem like they'd have good taste in fruit. I trust them in that, if nothing else

We had a passion fruit plant growing in the garden in the house where I grew up, and I'm always surprised when people talk about them as a delicacy. The flowers were beautiful, but I mostly remember them as being covered in wasps, and it's weird to see people talk with delight about what I remember as The Awful Wasp Bush

My keyboard arrived! It feels like the old mac keyboard we had when I was little! It makes loud jangly noises! It's good! Exclamation marks!!
