It's pancake day tomorrow and I am rapturously happy. I love pancakes SO much. I am going to eat like 12 of them. It's basically the best holiday of the year!!

i feel like a lot of the reason communism isn't more widespread is literally just that people use so much jargon about it that it's difficult to understand

my mums family were communist, i'm lefty, & i did not understand a lot of the things communists around me were saying because they wouldn't say any of them in plain english

i get that there's reasons for it, there's just a dearth of people talking clearly about communism in a way that isn't true of capitalists

Splatoon levelling works like the number of experience points for level 90 alone is the sum of experience points from every level 1-89. I've played for 200hrs, and I am level 47. Level 90 is *terrifying*.

The Switch is the best, but mine discharged its self overnight twice now. I think it's been using a ton of battery downloading updates automatically? I'm gonna try turning off the wifi when I'm not using it and see if that fixes it

@Stoori I agree! Social media run by people with a focus on being pleasant to use is basically the goal IMO

There's no doubt that mainstream social media sites are made in a way that harms people, but I wish people wouldn't say all social media is fundamentally bad

I have chronic fatigue syndrome & struggle to leave the house, and being able to communicate with other people without having to get out of bed is life changing.

There's so many people saying like all social media is bad always, keep your kids off their phones etc etc but like, I literally can't see friends IRL and I'm sure I'm not alone

I'm doing my writing stuff without like... talking about any of it to my friends/family. I think I'm way more likely to actually finish it that way, but I do really wish I could show my loved ones how much work I've done. It's a lot.
