I love headphones so much, and I really wish audiophiles were less full of shit about them. So many of the things they recommend literally don't do anything, and it's kind of elitist

I've been having that lactose free cheese stuff - like the kind made with cow milk? But it makes me feel really fatiguey and I think I'm gonna have to go back to the vegan cheese

Which kinda sucks because vegan cheese does not melt as well as cow cheese does, even if it's better for my body and the environment

It's just bullshit to see someone literally making shit up and having other people agree with them because it's/they're lefty, whereas if someone right wing said the same thing they'd get the piss taken out of them. Please learn things where you can, it's so harmful to act like your feelings are undeniable truth

There is literally nothing that bugs me more than people making their own conclusions on subjects they have no education about, without even trying to learn about it. It really does not matter if you're lefty or not, it's utter bullshit to just assume your ideas are correct when you have no idea what you're on about. Wikipedia it!!! You're online! There's a wide variety of places you can learn facts for free, instead of acting like your weird hunch is anything other than your feelings

It's so lovely checking the local/federated timelines and seeing other people just existing? Twitter sometimes feels like a horrible abyss, it's still weird to me how much masto feels like an actual community

And there's able bodied people who chose to go into politics who don't give two fucks about this, and it isn't fair

It's just so frustrating knowing that most people would be fine being eco-conscious if it was easy for them, but that the government does so little to help with that.

@agaric yeah, totally. I think the thing that pisses me off is not so much individual people avoiding it but the government? My MP is a climate change denier and I want to fight him. It's so irresponsible.

Everyone I know seems to care a lot, but it should be easier to help contribute than it is. It makes me so angry every time I hear someone complain about how hard it is to recycle/use public transport/go vegan/etc. The government could fix that! It should be our priority!!

I don't understand how we're not just talking about climate change all the time. How do people make decisions without worrying about the impact they'll have on the planet? It's completely fucking terrifying and we aren't doing anywhere near enough
