When I lived in a house with a skylight, I loved rainstorms; they'd make a hell of a row as the rain bounced off the windowpane. This house isn't nearly as much fun; the only way I can tell that it's absolutely lashing it down outside is the bouncing of rain off various bits of woodwork.

On the other hand, the roofs don't leak here. Running around trying to find containers for the drips to run into was less fun, and I still wake up from regular "it's raining indoors" dreams.
