Next to our table was a little altar to Chinese deities, burnt-down joss sticks in front of a heavenly court made of porcelain.

@croxus wonderful! My GF baked a magnificent nut loaf yesterday, and we had breakfast like the one described in "The Hobbit" where they arrive at Beorns house: rich fragrant bread, butter, honey, cream (in my tea)...

Light spring rain, and the leaves are translucent young green, and the ground smells of earthy growth and life.
