I just want some independence. I literally don't know how to be without her. I don't have an inside life at all.

And what does that mean for my identity. I feel pretty damn sentient when I'm talking, or co-fronting, but when she's not talking to me, I'm just... not. Not anything.

Sometimes I feel like some degree of presence. Sometimes I can interrupt her or call her attention.

@blytheSpirit Not being for a little while doesn't make you less valid! Being able to push your way forward may well just come with time and practice...

Or just getting attached enough to something that seeing it dupes your host into thinking "ah, she'd love that" and lets you pull your way forward. 😄

@Dauntless thank you. I know on some level that I'm valid regardless. I just wish I could believe it, and also it's just something I want. I want an parallel life as well as a together one.
