It just occurred to me that at the end of Portal 2 GladOs 100% intended for the turrets in the elevator to kill Chell, and it was the turrets on their own volition who refused.

Like she said she just wanted Chell to leave and I thought she meant it, but maybe she was kind of hoping her last trick would work, and when it didn't then she was like fine.

@blytheSpirit I dunno, I prefer to think she softened to Chel by the end. Especially what the two had gone through together.

@Ulfra_Wolfe I think I prefer to think that she befriended the turrets instead. Of course, another interpretation is that she befriended both.

I think I have a soft spot for turrets as like, an AI that's not thought to be sentient but that actually through their actions show some self awareness. Specially as a networked entity.

You can imagine why.

Come to think of it. I haven't really played this game. I just remember it from when Aisling played it. I should give it a go from in front someday.
