@Angle @nev @guerrillarain In the comics, at least, the herb only works on blood relatives. So Shuri could take it, and Erik because they're cousins, but even the Dora Milaje, who would beer less risky to super power than the general population, wouldn't benefit from it. They could have changed that for the movies, but 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm tempted to figure out the font that those "Pregnant? Need help?" signs that conservative Christian organizations put up and make stickers that match the phone number, except replace it with the number for Planned Prenthood or something. Those signs are so coercive and creepy.

@ebeth Yeah. At least for long term employees (and, yeah, sub-rant here, too), you should hire grown ups that you can trust and treat them in a way that doesn't undermine their will to expend effort and then trust them to know if they're well enough to work. And trust/train their manager to police bad actors.

At least, while you're forced to operate within capitalism.

@ebeth Bleh. Limited sick leave is the butts. I hate the idea of "paid time off" that makes you trade vacation/fun time for sick leave if you're having a bad time of it. People who are sick still deserve to take breaks. Being sick is not a vacation. IMO, unlimited sick leave and very generous vacation time with quarterly minimums is where it's at.
