@Nezchan Are there links to the titles they write so I can add them to my list? smdh
Anybody got a gender-neutral substitute for the phrase" average joe"? My friend's trying to write a thing.
Also busily wishing me well: Every forum I forgot I signed up for. 🤦🏻♂️
@Nezchan I'm a bit afraid to ask… What'd I miss?
Haha. I went to another window to understand a low level computer thing and came back to find the
had a bunch of birthday well wishes for me. Y'all are great. Thanks. 😊
Once more around the sun, y'all.
Good morning, witches and wicks.
Today, I am 36. 🎈
Is "secret" even the right spelling? It looks super weird after typing it in 7 times.

@dartigen Ahhh. This makes sense. You don't want generator equipment plummeting towards the sidewalk, yeah.
Someone please make this. 🙏🏻
In my original idea, this was just about, like, how it's OK for women to prioritize careers in their lives. But now I want it to be like a secret message to straight folks about being ace/aro. Like, both.
@benhamill The only problem I see with this becoming a thing:
Traffic, pedestrians, and pigeons having to dodge giant spinning blades

@Qwyrdo Hmmmm. I was thinking you put 'em up high, but I hadn't considered bird frens. 🙃
The twist is, she never "figures it out". She realizes it's OK not to want that (for now or ever). She tells her pushy parents to f off and signs back up to go to space.
The movie ends like it began: She's unpacking in the ISS to Marian Call and realizes there's nowhere she'd rather be and that societal pressure about romantic or sexual relationships is bullshit.
The tone should be similar to many slice-of-life movies marketed to women.
Once she gets back to Earth, though, she discovers that she's not really feeling the marriage and breaks it off. She's feeling a lot of societal and familial pressure to have a partner, though, so she goes through a few. Nothing works out. This part ideally echos of a RomCom.
I've been kicking around this idea for a few years. Ever since I first heard Marian Call's Good Morning Moon (https://youtu.be/ab2_7WQzulA). There's a 0% chance that I will make it happen so maybe if I put it out into the world… 🤷🏻♂️
So a movie with a female lead. She's an astronaut stationed on the ISS. You license the song for the opening credits and the set up is she's going home soon and retiring from astronauting and going to get married and is very happy about that.
It gets real windy in cities between the building from time to time. Is it possible to harness that to generate electricity or is it still not windy enough, despite how awful it seems to me at human scale?
