Today I realized that stretching is somewhat like (computer) garbage collection. You might be in the middle of a sentence, but then you do a big ol' stretch and nothing else can happen until you're done.

@witchfynder_finder I'm also happy to answer questions about any of these if you want.

@witchfynder_finder @BadWrongFun I also love how Wilson can so casually normalize the religious aspects of Kamala's life because she draws on her own experience. It is very real and natural and almost radically humanizing.

@witchfynder_finder Caveats:

I focused on writers, because often they're seen as the primary creator. Some stuff I read seems like more equal partnerships, but IDK, so I left them out.

I'm guessing gender based on names, mostly, which I realize is somewhat fraught.

Since race or ethnicity, let alone sexual orientation or cis/transness are even MORE impossible to guess based on names, I mostly just met your "not men" category, because I don't know that stuff about most of these authors without more research and I'm lazy.

@witchfynder_finder From Image:!Monstress, Pretty Deadly, By Chance or Providence.

Marvel: Ms. Marvel, Black Panther, America, Hawkeye: Kate Bishop (but start with Matt Fraction's run of Hawkeye because there's continuity and it's also great), Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Mockingbird, Patsy Walker A.K.A Hellcat!.

Indie publishers: The Infinite Loop, Goldie Vance, Lumberjanes, Jem and the Holograms, Spell on Wheels.

I also considered "me home tonight" but I figured I need to maintain my reputation as "like the least lewd person… on this social network" by stating away from anything that might even remotely be seen as flirty. 😜

@witchfynder_finder I'm sure these are the big visible ones, but: Ms. Marvel. Lumberjanes. Black Panther. Hmmmm… I'll have to look at my shelves when I get a chance.

IDEK if @chosafine follows me to be able to see this terrible shit/vaguepost.

@turbodragon I've heard if you saute them up with some garlic it's real nice. But I've never tried it myself.

@mauve Yeah. I had a line about people tweeting at me. I should probably change that since I took my Twitter link off and replaced it with this.

@noelle No wonder Opera is so uncommon in the wild.

Safari. Chrome. Firefox. Opera. Long ago, the four browsers lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Firefox Nation attacked.

@mauve Yeah. I feel liked there's some kinda half way thing that (some) people want. I tend to polish and edit blog posts and get feedback from folks. But sometimes I just want to barf out some ill-formed thoughts and see what people say.

I guess that's another thing: I don't have comments on my blog. But I often want some interaction on this half thing I'm thinking of. Which is why it ends up here, but here isn't quite the right fit. IDK.

@mauve It makes me want some more grease on blog publishing.

@mauve Ah. I didn't see that there was more context. Speaking of standing alone, heh. Oops.

I did the same thing a few times and agree it's exhausting.
