@kellycrow @DialMforMara I have heard this or similar stuff from some folks new here and I wonder if they just end up following some different folks early on and so wander down different branches of the social graph or what.
Because, yeah, I could do to see a lower percentage of white faces on here, but… it's, like, wall-to-wall trans lesbians on my timeline.

I mean, that happens on any social network where you follow people based on shared interests and recommendations from other people. Twitter and Tumblr are equally self-selecting.
@DialMforMara @kellycrow Yeah. I just wish we could help people who are unhappy with what they've happened across find people they'd be happier with following? I have no ideas about how we'd go about doing that at any kind of scale, though.
