These are LimeBikes. You rent one for $1 per 30 minutes through a phone app, then leave it wherever you happen to hop off so someone else can use it. They’re all over the place in my town and I love it.
@tek Are they all over in the sense of getting in the way? I've read some stuff about that happening in some places. I ask because Austin is prolly going to pilot a few of these programs soon and I'm curious about it and not sure what to think yet.

Some locations are clogged, but not badly. Use patterns changed once the rains hit. This summer may have a few problems.
@benhamill I haven’t seen them be in the way at all. Sometimes a teen drops one in an inconvenient spot, but 1) that’s happening less as everyone gets used to the system, and 2) they’re, like, pretty easy to move out of the way.
