@staticsafe @Vann Does it? That would be awesome. I actually like there idea of traffic management, but know enough about it that I want to try stuff that games like those often don't really let you.

Also the driver lane preference algo was super naive last I looked into it.

@benhamill @Vann yeah the driver lane preference problem is a common one folks mention and has been an issue since the game's launch :(

I don't mind the traffic management but its not really why I enjoy playing the game so from what I've seen of streamed DLC gameplay, it looks like it reduces that bit of micro-management.

@staticsafe @Vann Having watched some videos and read reviews, it looks like it might actually increase micromanaging traffic? Hard to say.

I wish for tools like protected bike lanes (or any bike lanes) and dedicated bus lanes and stuff like that. And whether you allow street parking or not or whatever. And bike share as a transit option.

Stuff I've read about the real world leads me to believe that often a road can carry the same number of cars sometimes faster in fewer lanes if the traffic is more organized. So I want those tools.

@Vann @staticsafe Maybe in some expansion? I don't remember bike lanes. I remember pedestrian paths, but didn't play with them much. Maybe those can take bikes, too?

I only have a couple of the expansions so far. Snowfall, maybe and some sports one?

@benhamill @staticsafe I'm almost certain bus and bike lanes were added in an update
may have been a mod though. either way, sidewalks and pedestrian roads can take bikes too (pedestrian roads can also accept emergency vehicles as needed)

I can't be sure how many things gs I got through workshop mods VS the core game updates
none of these are from expansions tho (with the possible exception of the night stuff one cause that's the only one I had I think)

@staticsafe @benhamill actually I do remember having a mod to add new roads
so that might be where the bus lanes came from if it isn't stock
