I wish #Amaroq (and maybe Masto web) had a 3-second delay on sending new posts. Specifically so that I could hit send and be like, "Oh shit! I forgot the alt text on my image!", cancel the send, fix it and send for real.
I wonder how much something like that would reduce people wanting to be able to edit posts.

I know I would just look at the spinner for three irritated seconds, and only after it posted would I actually look at it and notice I'd spelled "it's" as "its".
@apLundell Heh. As it is, I look at the spinner for 1 irritated second and spot my mistake and then wallow in anguish for a further 2 seconds while the network request finishes. 🤷🏻♂️ YMMV, of course.
