@Wsteria Hurty joints, but otherwise ok here. 🍵

@Heliodora Oh hey, a book prize list that I might actually be able to read!

@schomj Don't forget you have a sandbox. Alma comes with one. Nice for playing in.

@platypus Latter. Much more descriptive, too.

@clay In my workplace, such a sign would be both appropriate and appreciated. In my suite, we all have whiteboards on our doors, so if a door is closed it's always accompanied by "at lunch until 2" or "in webinar until 11:30" or whatever.

@gannet The more experienced ones are having a ball, because of all the one-offs and getting to add new authority records and such. The less experienced are all "OMG but how do I handle this thing that doesn't obey _any_ rules?!"

@gannet It will end up in the MARC description, yes. I'm guessing it was part of a collection that was recently transferred to us. They're having to do a lot of original cataloging, the items are so unique. And yeah, I'd guess that Archives will have to use a box for it. Can't have it damaging other books, or getting messed up itself.

If you're in need of some low-key today, I'm currently loving the album Mellow Dream from Japanese pianist Ryo Fukui: youtube.com/watch?v=KxlvMmUjpT

One of the catalogers just got to a book that has a pink plastic macaron glued to the cover. The entire suite had to go check it out. I have questions about shelving....

@ari_cat *nod* Totally get the bittersweet. Moving is always such a mixed blessing, seems like.

@ari_cat I always start packing as early as possible, just to give myself more time to sort through stuff and clean out things I no longer need.

@ruth I just went to listen to it, and it's the Cherubini again?

@ruth It was supposedly a favourite of Beethoven's!
