@payne Oh wow! I love the movement in your illustration. Thrashers are such active birds--it's perfect.

@NattyGov Granted it's only a small window into your life, but from here it seems that perhaps you comfort zone isn't necessarily all that comfortable.

@Anke That's just her voice! Kinda funky.

The gut bone's connected to the brain bone, which is fogged in due to the dreaded villain Inflammation.

@babelcarp I'm not sure about all of them. The one at top/right is a Chinese Pistache. The other larger trees that do well here are oaks (Shumard and sawtooth) and a couple kinds of elms; I just can't remember which is which without the leaves.

@noelle The correct emFAsis is always important.

@schomj Oh dear. So sorry you're having to deal with that.

@ruth Given that there are groups of Friendfeeders who've reformed in other online spaces, yeah, I'm all for any social theory that includes defunct websites.

@RussSharek 🍵 Hope you're feeling better soon.

@Lapis I suspect it will depend on the teacher, unfortunately. Some are just much more forgiving than others. But FWIW, when I taught I'd have accepted those things as proof.

@masu My brain capacity's low anymore so I mostly read brain candy (romance and fantasy mostly, the more predictable the better). But I'm v e r y s l o w l y making my way through Olive Sack's Migraine. It's fascinating.

@Lapis Aw, phooey. Hope you're feeling better soon. 🍵
