@noxy Sometimes, yes. :-) But really, the neediness will fade. It's harder on patrons because they don't get to play in the new system beforehand, like staff do. Change is harder when it's not something you can prepare for.

@noxy Ugh. Feeling your pain. So sorry. Hopefully the neediness will fade quickly.

@WelshPixie It's so nice to see pictures of green places right now! Thank you for posting this.

Of course my hips decide to be especially hurty the first day back at work. Of course.

@_knives_out_ @ruth It's meant to be an analogue thing, although I wouldn't be surprised if someone's made an app. (Just fyi, there is an official bujo app, but it's a companion--it doesn't provide a place to do the journaling.)

@NattyGov Oh good. Hate when a place gets priced out from under me. Though mostly I'm pretty lucky--working at universities means that property agents are always glad to see someone who isn't a student!

@NattyGov Hopefully not up so much that you can't afford it.

@NattyGov Yeah, me too. Love my nieces and nephew, but that urge just never hit me at all.

@NattyGov With that view, I would too. Lovely.

Added the opening dates for Black Panther, Wrinkle In Time, and Ocean's 8 to my future log. Because what the hell else would I use it for?

@NattyGov I'm still required to text my parents when I get home from visiting them (it's only a 50 minute drive). And I'm early 40's.

@ruth Oh, excellent! Glad you like it. I needed something flexible, to accommodate low-spoon and high-spoon days, while also not enforcing any particular expectation.

@_knives_out_ Well, it's one way that bullet journaling can look. It's a very flexible system, and most people end up adapting it to their needs. The guy who came up with the system doesn't use the weekly spread, but a lot of folks like it.

Here's my current weekly spread. Last month I realized that my dailies were turning into plain to-do lists, without any of the reflection or brain-dump aspects that first got me into the idea. But I also wasn't using the weekly spread. So.

@ari_cat They are! And for whatever reason, I don't see them much in my yard.

First goldfinch on the thistle feeder! *squeeee*

@Lapis The daily gratitude has always been a fave of mine, though this month am changing it up a bit. Saw someone suggest "small victories" and it resonated with my aim to be more active. Either way, it's quite nice to be flipping back and see those positive things.
