Window shopping on Etsy, and my desire for a purple and sparkly ring is running smack-dab into all these pearl and black Victorian mourning rings. Just not so sure about the hair....

Accidentally let my #tea steep the entire time I showered/dressed. Ooops! Am counting it as a 2nd day of xmas miracle that it isn't bitter as all get-out. (White tea leaves on their third brew, which also helped.)

Which also references old movies--former ones in the series, at least--but isn't exactly magical realism. 😁

In high school, the band had to march in sub-freezing temps a few times. I played piccolo. The metal headjoint partially froze to the skin under my lip a couple times. Totally a not-fun experience!

@_knives_out_ @GucciPiggy@toot.cat Lucked out--there weren't very many people seeing the movie! And it's pretty good, btw. Quirky magical-realism sort of thing, with lots of references to old movies. (Some gross stuff too; LMK if you need to know more about that.)

@tether It helps me to just fade into the background, but still be around enough to not end up with people hunting me down. It's a delicate balance, but do-able. Perhaps take the crochet to a room that people won't be in as much, but where you're still findable?
