@auntiekiki I really need to get the rest of the curtains up, and we need to get the fireplace properly covered (it has a couple of fleece blankets over it, but it just pours cold air when the furnace kicks on a sucks air down the chimney). Don't think I'll brave the icy streets to hit the Home Depot for a sheet of foam insulation *today*, though.
@auntiekiki It's a big, drafty house. Which needs its furnace replaced (happens this spring, if not sooner). Also we've been setting records for cold around here. Also Jersey is pricier on natural gas than Kansas was (though not a *huge* amount, because Pennsylvania produces a lot).
