@noxy What?! If the new ILS company did the transfer, I'd be all over them about that. If ILL lost that many patrons, then what happened with other patron accounts?
@noxy Thank goodness the problem isn't more widespread, at least. So frustrating to have to deal with at all, though. *sigh* You're totally right about the year being plenty of time to ensure that sort of thing doesn't happen.

Yeah, it could be way worse. But like, this library is not hurting for money, there's no reason why resources shouldn't have been poured into something like this. I hate having to enter this crap, searching the ILL policy directory is so tedious

It's unclear why only ILL accounts were affected but no other patron records have disappeared as far as we can tell. I think it has something to do with the fact that we switched from ILLiad to this company's ILL software waay before we switched to the rest of their software from Millennium. It's just all a mess. I think it's the fault of someone here at the library, not the company; there should have been a lot more preparation for a move that was planned a year in advance.
