people who live outside of germany: are folks using tons and tons of explosives where you live too?
@distelfliege I used to think we did a lot of fireworks, but then I spent Sylvester in Berlin a few years ago. Y'all are over the top.
@distelfliege Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. But I've lived all over the US, and firework use at the new year is pretty consistent around the country, in places where their use is legal. The little suburb I'm in now, they're illegal but a few people will still light them off--but it helps.
