I'm an artist so I live on Artist Island. We just talk arty stuff here. There are lots of other islands around me, some big & some small, all doing different cool things. There's this big island called Social Island. Too busy for me, but I have friends there. I keep up to date with them by following them.
If I want to spend more time on other islands I need to get a passport to live there. It's a bit of a pain, but hey, that's how it works.
Alright -- two coffees necked, laptop fully charged (not that that matters much with a fizzling-out battery)...guess that means it's time to get my NaNo done for today.

The best thing about Mastodon right now is the incredibly indie slant to the creators who've migrated here. Queer folks, folks of color, and women creating and telling their own stories in a space unencumbered by industry gatekeeping sentiments? This is great.
