So there's an RPG being developed called Dialect about constructing shared languages.

This included scenario might be relevant to some folx on here:

"Wolf Pack. A dialect among a pack of wolves as they make their way in the wild. Aworrooooooo! Note: this backdrop uses techniques from actual wolf pack communication."

they make name and appearance easy by giving you options you can circle. basically first you'll choose a name or make one up, then for each line under "Look," circle one option for your appearance

@geeceevee it's really common for people to be anxious about starting an RPG, since it's a little like performance and there are all these rules you don't know. but GMs generally know that they're responsible for teaching. and it's not like a video game where there's a "right" thing you have to do or else it's game over. you play to see what ridiculous stuff happens and how your characters interact with one another and the story
