@starkatt I really liked the first few Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind but then it turns out he is a rabid libertarian asshole and started writing basically fantasy versions of Ayn Rand so I tend to not recommend him...

@starkatt @nire Andromeda has a sentient spaceship with a robot avatar and I will love it forever exclusively for that reason (which is what I want to be when I grow up). Also I enjoy that I can summarize it for people as "Space hercules"

yesterday I did good! I made a birthday cake shaped like the Death Star, I ran an RPG, and I ran some Imperial Assault for the birthday girl (and murderated them hard. I won't go easy on you, even on your birthday)
