I have read a bunch of those and would not have called them gay comics, though in retrospect I can recall a queer character existing in the ones where I got past volume 1

In this category: Saga, Sex Criminals, Squirrel Girl, Giant Days, Strong Female Protagonist

I adore SFP and Giant Days tho, despite them needing more queerness

If "has a queer main character" counts, Agents of the Realm is really good (WoC magical girls)

@aprrrl @cute_weeds ah, okay. i really hadn't dug too deep, i know i just asked a similar question and got all this as interesting to look at

@aprrrl @cute_weeds @KitRedgrave dooooesssss Nimona count?

cause Nimona is really really nice and good fun and has tons of tugging at heartstrings

@Nine @cute_weeds @KitRedgrave I remember really liking Nimona but I don't actually remember the story enough to know o_O

@aprrrl @cute_weeds @KitRedgrave

in a highly anachronistic sci-fi/fantasy/steampunkish fusion world a Villain (as in actually that's their Job, being a supervillain) is thwarted by a Hero (again, their job) who they MAY have had a very close relationship with until the Acadamy picked one over the other following a duel that may or MAY NOT have been rigged from the start in favour of the Hero, meets a shapeshifter with a rad hairdo called Nimona who totally throws a spanner in EVERYONE'S works
