But I like the silly, the cute, and the goofy aspects of Halloween more than horror.
Can you recommend some lighthearted spoopy fun games? #rpg s are fine, but nothing that can't be learned and played as a one-shot if you're not already familiar with it.

Monster of the Week! It can feel like Scooby Doo or Buffy or X-Files depending on how seriously you take it. The conceit is that you're a team of monster hunters and each 'episode' is a new critter you have to investigate and resolve. It's PbtA (powered by the apocalypse, meaning based on the apocalypse world game engine)
