tfw when the francophones are mostly asleep but you want to have a conversation about language for genitals
maybe tomorrow
@Sylvhem @kellerfuchs @wire
OK, thanks! well, to start, I'm curious about the different forms of slang for 'penis' that are feminine words:
“la verge” “La bite” "la pine” “La queue”
I get that "verge" is scientific-sounding and bite and pine are rude... what about la queue? what are the differences among these slang words?
@kellerfuchs @Sylvhem @wire I want to spread the joy of feminine penis words to more AMAB transfem folx
I like "la bite" and it's nice to know it's not *too* rude
@aprrrl @wire @kellerfuchs @Sylvhem There are no real differences, it's more that any phallic shape can be used as a metaphore, and some have taken and are more often used... :<
NB: verge isn't scientific, but it's definitely less vulgar. All the others are vulgar, by virtue of being graphic metaphors instead of a proper name.
It works the same with the testicles: pretty much any round object will work as a metaphor, from "les bijoux de famille" to "les noix", but some will be more commonly used than others. :<

@aprrrl @kellerfuchs @Sylvhem "la queue" is a graphic slang to describe a tail (and hence a penis). These are basically the same
