I made a white-and-red breastplate armor instead of carrying around a shield, with that little rectangular slit from the shield as a boob window :-P
@aprrrl That is beyond cool. :o Mega Man is my favorite series of all time and I'm so in awe of people who can cosplay the characters. I've always wanted to try a femme version of X (Zero series design). I love that you transitioned her from the costume too!
@Kholdstare That would be amazing! The later character designs are so much harder, though, haha. My proto helmet is just a round motorcycle helmet that started out white and got red paint and black electric tape added :)
@aprrrl It'd definitely be a time and money sink, but I think it's worth it. Cosplaying gets more and more complex, haha. My first cosplay was Squall and it was so jumbled together. The last one was Robin and I spent so long on that costume.
@Kholdstare Cool! I am a fairly casual cosplayer, but these days I know how to sew and work leather, so that opens up some options
