@Draekos To me, kobolds are the cute, cunning little bads who get picked on and you feel bad for (a bit like furry goblins). Gnolls are big and ferocious. They EAT your BONES. If you come upon an abandoned village with no remains, it was either gnolls or necromancers. They are actually scary, but they know how to have a good time, too.
