@Draekos To me, kobolds are the cute, cunning little bads who get picked on and you feel bad for (a bit like furry goblins). Gnolls are big and ferocious. They EAT your BONES. If you come upon an abandoned village with no remains, it was either gnolls or necromancers. They are actually scary, but they know how to have a good time, too.

@aprrrl ah, I'm used to gnolls as the dumpster-digger furry goblins, but that may actually be me confusing them with another impish beast of folklore.
Kobolds in my heart are a people with a rather strange link to dragons, and a habit of grovelling and playing the fool right up until they can slide a knife between the ribs.
