If I wrote My Little Pony fanfic it would be Luna/Applejack friendship, because Luna is the one I identify with the most and Applejack is somepony I would love to be friends with.
Since Applejack's theme is Honesty, the story would be about what really happened before Celestia banished Luna to 1000 years of solitary. I don't believe the victor's history. Maybe Luna needs help even remembering the truth, let alone processing it.

@kel The summer after Season 1, when she was just raw potential with very little canon info, I totally fell in love with her concept. Not to mention that I love the energy of the moon and dreams and am a total nighttime person
The raw feeling of the pilot episode, her being imprisoned for a thousand years, then being beaten into submission again and being forced to apologize, was so intense, so sympathetic to me
@aprrrl ^_^ I don't know if I'm a nighttime person exactly (paradoxically I both love what the night brings, and also getting an early start XD) but Luna intrigues me while Celestia seems a bit...staid? too much a marble model
@kel Celestia is at her best when she lets loose a little (though trolling Fluttershy over the dead bird was crossing a line IMO!)
