2. We expect you to be comfortable enough with *one* programming language that you can walk us through code you've written.
3. We expect you to be eager to learn not just how to do X, but why X works, and how to do X well.

Best workday high is teaching someone something and having them feel great about it
the best thing to happen today (so far) was the cat crawling under the couch blanket with me and then flumping off the side of the couch, taking the blanket mostly with her. Then she laid on the floor in her blanket fort and purred.
lil shit stole the blanket i was using!

I am very pleased with doing a bare minimum of work today and getting a bunch of sleep. I have been super anxious stressball (and still am) but yesterday was especially bad. Little kids telling me their worries is just extra heart breaking

I like being the kind of neighbor that gives out candy, but answering the door and hearing the doorbell make me jumpy. Thanks to friends who came over to keep me company tonight! Much less anxious than being alone
i feel like i did nothing today, but there were meetings and i answered a question with a spreadsheet and i read to kids and got to be like “you just want everything to be bananas, fine kid. let us call everyone banana head”

@kara @KaylinEvergreen it made me angry that someone spent a lot of money and time to make it as if “men are shit and only view women as objects” was some new story that needed telling

@kara this seems right to me. the growing up is a thing that happens after/during. it starts juvenile
@kara i hope it is not cheating to tell you that the battles were almost cutscenes most likely to have music and swell with possibilities
@kara i caught that, and i love it. how does a story tell without the backstory? can it work? even in a highly stylized world where the nostalgia is built on teen loneliness? let’s find out!
